Brexit readiness & other tax improvements

Hi everyone!,

We’re pleased to announce that as the UK prepares to leave the EU, ThriveCart is ready to support the new tax requirements. UK VAT numbers will be verified using the UK’s new system provided by HMRC, VAT will be charged on orders for customers in the UK, and we’ve resolved some inconsistencies with the special ‘Services’ category.

Not only this, we’ve also added some new functionality to our API to help filter transactions, and a raft of other minor fixes and improvements.

We wish everyone a happy new year! Stay safe, and stay tuned for more coming in 2021!
