Update 12/17/24: Cart Scroll + Funnel Flow + Extra Affiliate Data

It’s Tuesday, which means that it’s time for an update!

This week our development team has rolled out a product enhancement:

**Enhancement** Extra data in affiliate report: We’ve increased the amount of information that is available when exporting transactions from the affiliates area in the dashboard so that vendors can track their affiliate’s referrals and commissions easier. That CSV now includes data in columns such as:

  • Customer name
  • Customer email
  • Product name
  • Product label
  • Product ID
  • Sales date
  • Commission payment date

There are also a number of bug fixes to report from the past week as well:

**Fixed** Cart does not scroll to invalid fields when attempting to complete order: If a field was skipped or the data incorrect in that field, clicking “complete order” appeared to not function because that fields data was incorrect. In cases such as these, the cart will now scroll to the errored field to help ease customer confusion.

**Fixed** Countdown resetting on embeddable cart on refresh: We received reports that when setting a countdown on an embedded checkout, that timer reset with each page refresh and was not cached based on the customer’s session. This has been resolved and using an embeddable template with a countdown timer will now maintain the ongoing timer for the full session – such as after a page refresh.

**Fixed** Leading zero missing in zip code on receipts: Zip Codes that started with zero (i.e. 01234) were showing incorrectly on invoices and sales notifications without that zero (i.e. 1234). This has been resolved and the correct zip code will now show.

**Fixed** Shipping step continue button text saved in the editor, but not updated on the live page: When editing the “continue” text of the button on the first shipping step, this edit was adjusting within the editor but did not appear on the front end. This has been resolved and edits to this button will be displayed on the live checkout.

**Fixed** Upsell pages loading within the embedded checkout: We received a few reports where users were seeing that their upsell pages were loading within the initial embedded checkout instead of redirecting to the standalone upsell page. This has been resolved and the funnel will now flow from the embedded checkout page to open that upsell page in a new window as expected.

**Fixed** Coupon element ‘border’ showing when coupon set to hidden: When setting a border colour and then setting the coupon element to hidden, the border was still showing on the live checkout. This has not been adjusted and if the coupon element is set to be hidden, then nothing related to the coupon element will be visible, not even the container’s border.

Happy Holidays and have a great week ahead!
