Incident Update – Service Disruption
- Duration: Under 2 hours
- Customer data lost: None
- Subscriptions affected: No
Below you’ll find our postmortem for the incident that our platform suffered today.
Earlier today, we experienced a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack that generated an unusually high volume of traffic against our platform.
Our infrastructure includes multiple layers of protection designed to keep the platform operating normally during events like this.
During today’s attack, one of those infrastructure safeguards did not behave as intended under the sustained load, allowing database connections to become saturated.
Once the cause was identified, we isolated the affected deployment components and restored our standard infrastructure configuration, returning service to normal. This took approximately two hours to complete.
As an additional precaution, the deployment system involved will remain disabled while we complete a full review.
Before it is returned to service, we are implementing changes to ensure all infrastructure components share the same connection management controls, further increasing resilience during periods of exceptionally high traffic.
We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience as we worked to restore service.
