We’re continually improving ThriveCart and ThriveCart Academy to make it easier to sell products, manage subscriptions, understand business performance, and deliver a better customer experience. Here’s what changed between October 12 and October 25, 2026.
ThriveCart
Anchored Billing now supports every calendar day
Creators using Anchored Billing can now select any day from the 1st through the 31st as their preferred billing date. When a month doesn’t include the selected day, ThriveCart uses the last day of that month and explains how the date will be handled. This gives creators more flexibility when aligning billing with a preferred day of the month, while making shorter-month behavior easier to understand.
Multi-currency reporting is clearer for merchants selling in multiple currencies
Reports now provide broader multi-currency coverage across dashboards, product and sales reporting, funnels, coupons, and subscription views. Revenue, average order value, MRR, ARR, churn, subscriber details, and product rankings can be reviewed more consistently when multiple currencies are included. Converted totals are also labeled as approximate figures, giving merchants clearer context when reviewing numbers converted into a display currency.
Customer Hub places subscriptions in the correct area
Ongoing subscriptions without a trial now appear in the current subscriptions area instead of being presented as trial subscriptions. Customers can more easily find the subscriptions they need to manage, update, or cancel. Subscription cancellation flows connected to Academy products also provide a more consistent experience across trial, annual, bump, and international purchase scenarios.
ThrivePages layouts are more consistent across devices
ThrivePages improvements help prevent elements from overlapping on mobile devices and make spacing behave more consistently across published pages. Creators can also add new sections by dragging and dropping them into the page more reliably, making it easier to build and adjust responsive checkout experiences.
VAT validation provides clearer feedback
When a VAT number is successfully validated, the previous error message now clears as expected. This gives creators and customers clearer feedback when reviewing tax details during checkout setup.
Managing multiple accounts is clearer
Creators and team members who can access more than one account now have a refreshed account selection experience. This makes it easier to identify and choose the account they want to work in after signing in.
ThriveCart Academy
Creators can add students in larger batches
Creators can now add up to 100 existing students that are already available in their system to a course or community at once, making it easier to onboard larger groups without repeating the same action student by student.
Creating lessons is more reliable when teams work together
When two people create lessons at the same time, the lesson creation process now handles the activity more reliably. This helps teams collaborate without unexpectedly losing work or receiving an error when a lesson is created.
Course editing provides clearer feedback while making changes
Creators now receive clearer feedback when quiz questions cannot be added, and rapid additions preserve the intended order. The course editor also behaves more consistently when opening and closing the block inspector, selecting a community, changing manual drip settings, or working with certain content blocks.
New lessons and modules start in a safer draft state
Courses that have never been published are now clearly identified as drafts when creators link courses together. New modules and lessons also start as drafts, giving creators time to prepare content before students can see it. Lesson cover uploads and preview workflows have also been improved, making it easier to review course content before publishing.
Course counts and “Continue Learning” now reflect student progress more accurately
Students now see the correct number of published courses because drafts and archived courses are excluded from the count. “Continue Learning” also prioritizes the course a student is actively progressing through, ahead of courses they have already completed or have not started. This gives students a more useful next step when returning to Academy.
Creators have more control over lesson behavior and links
The course editor now includes more flexible controls for opening links in a new tab, styling quoted text, choosing automatic or manual lesson completion, previewing in a new tab, and managing lesson cover images. These options give creators more control over how students move through their content and how lessons appear across the learning experience.
Community branding remains consistent for creators and students
When a community logo cannot load, students now see a clear initials tile or a readable broken-image card instead of an unclear or empty state. Community branding also loads correctly for logged-in students. Additional design improvements ensure that Academy colors follow the design system more consistently, including in dark mode.
Community access controls now work more consistently
Only community members can now read or post in a community. Removed and banned students are blocked from accessing community content, including through connected API routes. When creators turn off member posts, students no longer see a post box they cannot use. Broken or invalid community links also show a clear “not found” message instead of an error page.
Removing or unlinking course content provides clearer outcomes
Unlinking a course from a community now archives the related spaces instead of leaving them disconnected. When someone tries to edit a community post they are not allowed to change, Academy now provides a clear permission message. Follow-up improvements also prevent moderators from unintentionally rewriting another member’s post.
Creator access changes take effect immediately
Viewing Academy as a student no longer affects the online student count. When a team member is removed from an account, their creator access ends immediately rather than continuing until an existing session expires. Creator logout controls also behave more consistently throughout the platform.
Sign-in and password setup are more reliable
Academy now limits repeated sign-in, account creation, and creator password attempts to help prevent automated abuse. Normal users should not notice a change, while repeated automated attempts receive a try-again-later message. Navigation after an Academy update can recover automatically, and copying an email address now provides a clearer fallback when browser clipboard access is unavailable.
Product-mapping messages now appear consistently
The “linked elsewhere” message now appears across all product-mapping screens, making it easier for creators to understand when content is already connected to another location.
Welcome emails are sent for purchases that include shared community access
When a buyer purchases a product and an upsell that both open the same community, Academy now sends the expected welcome and sign-in email for new purchases.
Billing cards show annual and bundled pricing more clearly
Billing cards no longer show the monthly list price or trial end date as the renewal date on annual and bundled plans, making the payment information easier to understand.
Student email preferences are respected more consistently
Students’ email notification choices are now applied consistently across supported accounts.
Video storage is now included in your plan allowance
Each Academy plan now includes a set amount of video storage: 100 GB on Starter and 500 GB on Growth. You can check how much you’ve used at any time in your billing settings, where you’ll also see a warning as you get close to your limit. At the cap, new uploads pause with an upgrade prompt. Your existing videos keep playing as normal – nothing is deleted.
