At ThriveCart, we’re continually improving the platform to make it easier to manage products, create smoother checkout experiences, and give you more control over your customer journeys. Here’s a look at some of the enhancements delivered throughout the second half of July, across the checkout and ThriveCart Academy.
For a longer-term look, check out the roadmap.
ThriveCart Academy: 30 July
ThriveCart Academy received several improvements in an update on July 30, helping creators manage courses more easily, giving students smoother access, and ensuring content and branding display as expected.
More accurate ThriveCart product mappings
ThriveCart Academy now pulls products from the connected ThriveCart account. This helps ensure the correct products appear when creators map ThriveCart products to their courses.
Easier navigation back to your community
The “Return to Community” link now appears correctly on course pages where it’s available, making it easier for students to move between course content and the wider community experience.
Creator logos display more clearly
Creator logos now display without being cropped, helping branded courses and community experiences look more polished across ThriveCart Academy.
Delete courses more easily
Creators can now delete courses even when they contain course instructions, making it easier to manage and remove content they no longer need.
More reliable audio content
Audio blocks can now be saved and played back more reliably, helping creators add audio lessons and giving students a smoother playback experience.
Embedded forms display correctly
Forms embedded inside HTML content blocks now display as expected, making it easier to add interactive content to lessons and course pages.
More reliable discussion and live event messages
Discussion messages and live event messages now display more consistently, helping students stay connected and making it easier to follow conversations and events.
ThriveCart: 12-16 July
More reliable PayPal processing
PayPal payment processing is now better equipped to handle delayed or interrupted payment events. This helps reduce missed updates and keeps payment and fulfillment information more closely aligned.
Clearer withdrawal options after purchase
Withdrawal options now appear more consistently in the Customer Hub and on relevant products after purchase. This gives customers clearer access to the information and options available to them.
More reliable product management
Product management is now more dependable for merchants using larger catalogs and advanced adaptive pricing (launching soon!). Product names display more clearly, and the Products area is better equipped to load and manage pricing information reliably.
Affiliate dashboard now loads more reliably
The affiliates dashboard is now more reliable when viewing results across different date ranges. This helps you access affiliate information with fewer interruptions and makes it easier to review performance.
ThriveCart: 17-23 July
More flexible checkout protection
ThriveCart now supports additional checkout verification options, giving merchants more flexibility in how you protect checkout forms and help prevent unwanted activity.
More reliable checkout and confirmation experiences
Checkout and confirmation experiences are now more reliable in situations involving free purchases or incomplete order details. This helps customers move through the purchase journey more smoothly and reduces confusing errors after checkout.
Simpler subscription cancellations
Merchants can now cancel eligible migrated subscriptions more reliably, even when older subscription records do not include every customer detail. This helps keep subscription statuses accurate and makes account management easier.
ThriveCart: 24-31 July
A clearer mobile email verification experience
The email verification field now displays more clearly on mobile devices. Customers can better understand what information is required, creating a smoother checkout experience on smaller screens.
More dependable purchase notifications
Purchase webhooks now work more consistently for front-end purchases, including situations where a customer does not complete an upsell. This helps connected tools receive the right purchase information and keeps downstream workflows running more reliably.
More resilient checkout and account experiences
ThriveCart is now better equipped to handle a wider range of checkout and account-management scenarios. Customers and merchants should see fewer interruptions when moving through checkout, viewing account information, or accessing related platform areas.
Clearer access to sales tax settings
Sales tax settings are now easier to access and manage, with clearer availability based on account and pricing configuration. This helps merchants understand which tax options are available to them and configure their settings with greater confidence.
Continuing to improve ThriveCart
These updates are part of our ongoing work to make ThriveCart more reliable, easier to manage, and better suited to the way modern businesses sell online. We’ll continue refining the platform across products, courses, communities, checkout, subscriptions, integrations, and reporting so you can spend less time working around friction and more time growing your business.
