We’re continuing to improve ThriveCart and ThriveCart Academy with updates that make it easier to sell products, manage customers, understand performance, and deliver a smoother learning experience. Here’s what changed between August 24 and 30, 2026.
ThriveCart
Payment confirmations now wait for successful payment
ThriveCart now waits for a payment to be fully confirmed before granting course access or sending payment confirmation emails. This helps ensure customers receive access only after their payment has completed successfully, including when a payment method requires additional authentication.
Split-pay checkout confirmations are more reliable
Improvements to split-pay checkout processing help payment confirmations complete more consistently. This gives customers a smoother purchasing experience and helps merchants reduce interruptions when selling installment offers.
Failed PayPal Enhanced rebills are recorded more consistently
ThriveCart now records failed rebills from PayPal Enhanced more reliably, helping merchants maintain a clearer view of subscription payment activity and follow up when a recurring payment does not complete.
Tax-inclusive invoices with coupons show clearer price breakdowns
Invoices for tax-inclusive products purchased with a coupon now present the original price, discount, tax, and final total more clearly. The line items are designed to reconcile with the amount charged, giving merchants and customers easier-to-understand records.
Checkout works more smoothly inside Facebook and Instagram browsers
Checkout improvements help customers complete purchases when they open a ThriveCart link inside an in-app browser, such as Facebook or Instagram. This supports a smoother path from social media content to completed purchase, especially on mobile devices.
Free PayPal upsells display the Add to Order button correctly
The Add to Order button now appears as expected for free upsells when PayPal is used. Customers can more easily accept the additional offer and continue through the purchasing journey.
Dashboard statistics handle incomplete date filters more reliably
ThriveCart now checks that both parts of a reporting date range are present before loading dashboard statistics. If a date range is incomplete, it is handled as an invalid filter instead of causing the statistics request to fail unexpectedly, helping merchants get back to reviewing their data more smoothly.
Checkout Views data stays consistent across reports
Improvements to checkout-view reporting help keep the figures shown on the main dashboard aligned with the Products and Sales report. Merchants can review customer activity with greater confidence when comparing performance across different reporting areas.
Moosend syncing handles unexpected responses better
ThriveCart’s Moosend integration is now more resilient when the service returns an unexpected response. This helps connected accounts maintain more dependable list and subscriber syncing.
Subscription cancellation processing is more resilient
Improvements to subscription cancellation processing help ThriveCart continue handling cancellations when older funnel records are incomplete or unavailable. This supports more dependable account and subscription management.
Customer names with special characters display correctly
Names containing accented letters and other special characters now display more accurately in the Transaction area. This makes customer records easier to read and helps merchants work with international customer information.
Affiliate dashboards load more reliably for large affiliate portfolios
Affiliate dashboards are now more reliable for affiliates connected to a large number of vendor accounts. This helps affiliates access their account information without unnecessary loading interruptions.
ThriveCart Academy
Students can receive notifications when drip content unlocks
Students can receive an activity-feed and bell notification when a drip-scheduled lesson becomes available. This helps learners know when new content is ready without needing to check every course manually.
Download blocks work correctly in lesson preview
Download blocks now work as expected in preview mode. Creators can review the learner experience more accurately before publishing a lesson.
Resource deletion respects creator permissions
Only the creator of a space can delete its resources. This helps protect shared course and community files from being removed unintentionally by other members.
Completed courses appear correctly in the student dashboard
Students can now find their completed courses in the right area of the dashboard. This makes it easier to review learning history and return to previously completed content.
Community settings are easier to understand
Updated explanations and tooltips provide more context throughout community settings. Creators can make changes with a clearer understanding of what each option controls.
Course content loads more reliably
Improvements to course and lesson loading help creators and students reach content more consistently. This supports a smoother experience when opening courses, lessons, and editor pages.
Course deletion works more smoothly
Creators can now delete courses more reliably from Academy. This makes it easier to keep course libraries organized as content changes over time.
Video encoding no longer interrupts navigation
Creators can continue moving through Academy while videos are being prepared. This reduces unnecessary delays when building or updating lessons that contain video content.
Quiz editing behaves more consistently
Quiz editing now works more predictably in the course editor. Creators can make changes to learning assessments with less interruption.
Video links can be copied correctly
Video link text can now be copied as expected from the lesson editor. This makes it easier for creators to reuse or share video links while managing lesson content.
Text editing and input behavior are more predictable
Improvements to text input and editing help creators make changes more smoothly in lessons and course content.
Audio uploads accept valid files correctly
Valid audio files can now be uploaded more reliably. Creators can add audio lessons and supporting content with fewer interruptions.
Community names support Cyrillic and other non-Latin characters
Creators can now use a wider range of alphabets when naming their communities. This makes it easier to create accurate, localized Academy experiences for international audiences.
Large PDFs upload more reliably
The message shown during PDF uploads now matches the actual file size limit. Additionally, larger PDF files can now be uploaded without an incorrect file size message. This gives creators more flexibility when adding workbooks, guides, and other downloadable resources.
PDF resources open correctly
PDF resources that previously opened blank now render correctly. Students can access the resource content as intended, while creators can review how their files appear to learners.
Creator Q&A is easier to use
The Q&A composer and full-view navigation now work correctly for creators. This makes it easier to ask questions, review discussions, and participate in community learning.
Onboarding can be dismissed when creators choose to explore independently
Creators who choose to explore Academy on their own can now dismiss the related onboarding option as expected. This keeps the setup experience focused on the path each creator prefers.
Course space groups no longer create duplicate sidebar rows
Course space groups with only one child now appear cleanly in the sidebar. This helps creators and students navigate course structures without seeing repeated entries.
Photo sign-in layouts explain when saving is unavailable
Creators can now see why saving may be unavailable when using photo-based sign-in layouts. Clearer guidance makes it easier to understand the available configuration options.
Long sign-in page titles wrap cleanly
Long titles on sign-in pages now wrap correctly instead of being cut off or disrupting the layout. This helps creators present a cleaner branded experience.
Branded course links route more reliably
Improvements to branded course links help students reach the intended destination when courses use custom domains. This supports a more consistent transition from a creator’s branded link to their Academy content.
Content-block autosave avoids duplicate blocks
Autosave now avoids creating repeated content blocks in certain account and ownership scenarios. Creators can build lessons with greater confidence that their content will remain organized.
Inline video blocks support LiVid content and fallback embeds
Inline video blocks now recognize LiVid videos and use a general embedded-video option when appropriate. This helps creators display supported video content more consistently inside lessons.
The emoji picker opens from the lesson editor toolbar
Creators can now open the emoji picker directly from the lesson editor toolbar, making it easier to add visual personality to course and community content.
Repeated purchase events create one audit record
When Academy receives a repeated purchase notification, it now records the event once instead of creating duplicate entries. This helps keep purchase histories and internal records cleaner.
Removing a product link stops new enrollments and emails
When a creator removes a product link, Academy no longer continues enrolling new buyers or sending related emails for that product. This gives creators more control over when an offer stops granting access.
Resource Hub external links connect creator setup with member visibility
Creators can add external links to Resource Hub spaces, and members can see those links in the Resources widget. This completes the path from adding a useful external resource to making it available to the right community members.
