We’re continuing to improve ThriveCart and ThriveCart Academy with updates designed to make selling, course creation, and student access smoother. Here’s everything we released the week of August 8-15, 2026, including more reliable checkout payments, easier integration management, clearer course editing, and a better experience for students.

ThriveCart

Checkout payments now handle missing billing details more smoothly
Checkout now avoids sending incomplete billing information to Stripe, helping reduce avoidable payment failures and giving customers a smoother path to purchase.

More flexibility for checkout tracking
ThriveCart checkout now supports the domains needed by common analytics and tracking tools, helping scripts load as expected without additional work.

PayPal links from Customer Hub now go to the correct destination
The “Visit PayPal” button now takes customers to the live PayPal experience instead of sending them to a sandbox page.

PayPal shipping refunds now display correctly
Refunding shipping costs through PayPal no longer displays the shipping amount twice on the invoice or incorrectly refunds the entire order.

PayPal Enhanced button labels now support German requirements
PayPal Enhanced checkout buttons now use the appropriate wording for German customer journeys, helping merchants present a clearer and more compliant checkout experience.

Right of Withdrawal labels can now be customized and translated
Withdrawal-flow labels are now available in Custom Text and Translation settings, helping merchants present this customer-facing experience more clearly across different languages and markets.

Duplicate transaction handling is more reliable
Improvements to transaction processing help reduce the risk of duplicate records, giving merchants more dependable transaction history and reporting.

Free products with paid bumps can be purchased more reliably
Customers can now purchase a free main product with paid bumps when withdrawal settings apply. The related withdrawal option also displays correctly on mobile devices.

One-time upsells now account for previous payments correctly

When a one-time upsell replaces a previous paid step, the earlier payment is now credited correctly and the related subscription is handled as expected.

Funnel reports now include value-per-click data
Merchants can now use value-per-click information in funnel reporting to better understand the relationship between traffic and revenue.

Product and Sales reporting now includes source information
Product and Sales reporting improvements provide more useful source information, helping merchants understand where activity and sales are coming from. Additional reporting improvements provide merchants with more useful information for reviewing performance and understanding customer activity.

Territories reporting now includes checkout view metrics
Territories reporting now supports checkout view data, giving merchants more insight into how customers in different locations interact with their offers.

Customer Hub billing updates are clearer when a processor is disconnected
Customer Hub now handles billing information updates more reliably when a vendor has disconnected the payment processor associated with the customer’s payment.

ActiveCampaign tag updates are easier to manage
When you rename an ActiveCampaign tag, you can now refresh the data shown in ThriveCart’s Automation Rules so the latest names appear without waiting for outdated information to clear.

JV partner commissions are handled correctly after refunds
Refunds now correctly account for JV partner commissions, helping keep commission and refund calculations aligned.

Cloned products now retain the correct currency symbol
Currency symbols now display correctly when product pricing settings are cloned, helping merchants avoid confusion when reviewing or updating cloned products.

Statistics Dashboard calculations are more accurate
Average order value and refund rate figures now calculate more reliably, giving merchants greater confidence in the performance information shown on the Statistics Dashboard.

Customer Hub loading is smoother
Customer Hub now loads payment information more efficiently and provides clearer loading indicators, making it easier for customers to understand when their information is being retrieved.

Affiliates can add multiple products more efficiently
Merchants can now bulk add new products to existing affiliates, reducing the time needed to update affiliate offers across an account.

The notification bell no longer blocks ThriveIQ controls
The notification bell now works alongside the ThriveIQ widget and other controls on mobile devices and in the checkout editor, making both areas easier to use.

International characters now display correctly in CSV exports
CSV exports now display non-English characters more reliably, helping merchants work with international customer, product, and transaction data.

Pro-rata credits are applied more consistently
When a one-time payment cancels an ongoing subscription, the appropriate pro-rata credit is now applied more reliably.

Custom language profiles now save more reliably
Custom language profiles are less likely to disappear while being edited or saved, helping merchants maintain their preferred wording and translations.

Subscription webhooks can now be sent at the end of the subscription period
Webhook timing now supports sending an event when a subscription period ends, helping connected systems respond more accurately to subscription lifecycle changes.

Password reset emails are now sent reliably
Students can now request a password reset and receive the email they need to regain access to their accounts.

Navigation is available across more Academy pages
The sidebar now appears correctly on pages where it was previously missing, making it easier for creators and students to move around the Academy.

Course content and lessons load more reliably
Students can now open course content and lessons more consistently without pages failing to load.

Published lesson links now open correctly
Lesson links on published courses now take students to the intended content.

Students can preview the first lesson with Module Intros enabled
Students can now preview the first lesson as expected, even when Module Intros are enabled for the course.

Image edits now display correctly after saving
The image editor now displays the newly saved image instead of continuing to show the previous version.

Uploaded logos no longer show unwanted backgrounds
Transparent logos now display cleanly in headers and sidebars without an additional colored or gradient box behind them. The creator’s original logo file remains unchanged.

Image resizing and editing guidance now displays correctly
The resize and image editing banner now works as expected, making image adjustments easier to understand.

Text block fonts now display more consistently
Text blocks now maintain more consistent font styles across course content.

Community member counts now display accurately
Community pages now show the correct number of members, giving creators and students a more accurate view of their community.

Older Academy links now redirect to the current address
Older lms.thrivecart.com links now redirect to the current Academy address while keeping the original page and secure login experience working.

Creator sessions now identify the correct creator
Creator sessions now connect users with the correct creator account, helping ensure access and account activity are handled properly.

Content owners now receive reply notifications
Owners now receive notifications when someone replies to their content, making it easier to stay engaged with discussions.

Downloaded resource files use clearer filenames
Downloaded resource files now use clearer filenames, making it easier to identify and organize them after download.

Hyperlinks can now be edited or removed more reliably
Creators can now update or remove hyperlinks in the course editor with greater confidence.

Course and lesson publishing options are clearer
The publishing experience now makes it clearer whether creators are publishing an individual lesson or the full course.

The lesson editor now shows when changes are saved
Creators can now see whether their lesson changes have been saved, making course editing easier to manage.

The Media Library stays open when replacing a video
The Media Library now remains available when a creator replaces a video, making it easier to continue managing course media.

Resource links now copy correctly with courses
Resource links are now retained correctly when a course is copied, reducing the need to recreate those links manually.

The resource display area is larger and easier to use
The artifact and resource display area now provides more space, making it easier to review and manage course resources.

Resources now display correctly in student preview
Resources now appear as expected in student preview and can be edited more reliably.

Lesson embeds now use the correct size and layout
Lesson embeds now display with the correct width and layout, creating a more consistent experience for students.
