Update: language fixes, customer country bug, and Learn Beta Group

It’s Tuesday, and that means we’ve got some updates for you.

Firstly, we’ve made important changes to one of the language settings available when you create a cart. As “Brazilian” (Brasileiro) is technically incorrect, we have now updated it to reflect the more accurate term “Português Brasileiro”, and have updated instances of the language across the app to be clearer and fix mistranslations.

In other news, we need your help! We are aware some Learn users have had issues with tags and rebills not unlocking course content and specific lessons not showing for some students. Our devs have created fixes, but we need beta testers to make sure everything is working as smoothly as possible.

We’ve created the ThriveCart Learn Beta Group to enable fixes for users who sign up, and all we ask is your feedback before those fixes are given a wider release. The focus of this beta group is to gather extra information about known issues with tagging and student access.

Thank you for helping improve ThriveCart for everyone!

Meanwhile, here’s a bug fix for you:

Customer countries – the customer country may not have been included in order information if you did not specifically request this info at the checkout. The customer’s country is always recorded by IP, even if you don’t include a form field for it. We’ve fixed the issue, and now your customer’s country should be included in receipts and order details, even when you don’t request address information.

That’s it for this week! If you have any issues with ThriveCart, please check our help docs for guidance or reach out to support and we’ll be in touch.

We’ll be back soon with more updates for you – until then, keep thriving!

All the best,

The ThriveCart Team
